I somehow missed the first article in the School Library Journal series about taking COVID 19 as an opportunity to re-think youth services, but I read the second one and it really resonated with me.  There has been so much STUFF to think about right now, with trying to figure out how to provide remote service, thinking about PPE and the health and safety of library staff and patrons when trying to re-open or expand services to allow for appointments.  Looking to our communities and trying to connect with the most vulnerable folks has been challenging.  I know many of you have had this in mind, and that many of you have strong connections to other agencies and groups that serve families and youth (beyond the school, even!).  I found these articles to be a good reminder to look up to see what is beyond.  Now is as good a time as any to really look at our services with a critical eye and decide what we want to do.
