We had about 12 stations. Each station was set up as a different county with a game, craft, or activity. Each station had a poster of the country and children’s books which folks could check out. Some stations also had a boombox with music from that country softly playing. Here’s what we had:

Egypt: make a pyramid and write your name in Hieroglyphics

Mexico: make yarn art or paper plate maraca

Jamaica: coconut macaroon

South American wild animal scavenger hunt

USA: folksingers

Arctic Circle: make an arctic animals book like Polar Bear Polar Bear

Australia: make a boomerang bookmark or didgeridoo

Japan: make a fish kite

India: make a twirling palm puppet

Antarctica: Culver’s Lemon Ice treat and make a snowflake

France: play Snail hopscotch

Greece: hopscotch

Switzerland: enjoy the music and yodeling of KinderChor, children’s choir

What fun! Karen estimates that between 400 and 800 people attended this awesome program.
