Are you a morning person passionate about providing access to Library customers? The L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library is currently seeking a safety-minded and detail-oriented Van Driver who has a passion for providing access to library materials. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for driving the library’s minivan to retrieve library materials from the 10 book drop locations around Eau Claire and returning them to the library, plus SO MUCH MORE.
The L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library is looking for candidates that will be reliable, courteous, and safety minded. Additionally, ideal candidates will be friendly ambassadors to the library, have an excellent driving record, demonstrated ability to work independently, and are able to work in a physical setting, in a variety of weather conditions, where frequent lifting, bending and squatting is required.
We have 1 part-time non-exempt position available, averaging 15 hours per week. The starting wage is $16.20 per hour and includes paid floating holiday. The proposed schedule is Monday-Friday from 5:30 AM until 8:30 AM, with occasional Saturdays.
