Phillips Memorial Public Library is seeking a talented and imaginative graphic designer to craft visually-compelling promotional materials which inform, inspire, and connect our customers to library programs and services. This is a great opportunity to use your design skills in a mission-driven, creative environment. In addition to designing, producing, and distributing promotional assets, the Programming & Communications Services (PCS) Coordinator will work with the PCS team to assist with planning and hosting library events for adults, managing meeting room equipment, and coordinating way-finding signage within the library. Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of professional graphic design and/or content development experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in formal education or proven work experience with an emphasis in graphic design, marketing, communications, or similar field. Stand-out candidates will have a track record of being organized, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with internal and external customers to ensure shared expectations with minimal supervision.
This is a full time, non-exempt position working 40 hours/week. Typically weekday daytime hours, with minimal evenings and weekends required. Occasional remote work available after successful completion of introductory period.
