Keeping Up With Kids

Dayna Lovell at the L. E. Phillips Memorial Public Library is combining two grant projects to present one terrific program on Thursday, October 25 at 6:30.

A year ago, the library received a grant from the Presto Foundation that allowed them to purchase I-Pads for circulation and in-house use.  The library is also participating in the 2012 LSTA Autism Grant.  Since apps on I-Pads are a powerful tool for many people on the autism spectrum, Dayna is doing her research so she can present a good program about the possibilities!

Parents and caregivers are invited to hear about some of the applications, and then there will be time to try them out on the library’s I-Pads.  Please pass on the information about this program to the teachers and parents in your community!

For information and registration, stop at the Youth Services desk on your next visit to the library, call 715-839-5007, or e-mail ysstaff@eauclaire.lib.wi.us.
