Keeping Up With Kids

Prizes, prizes, prizes.  Do they make your Summer Library Program more or less fun?  There has been a lot of good discussion in our state lately about SLP prizes, how effective they are, and how much money we spend on them.  There are lots of interesting perspectives on this, and I’m looking forward to talking more about it with all of you.  Look for more discussion at the Summer Library Program workshop/mini-conference (coming up November 18, mark your calendars now, it’s going to be FABULOUS!)

In the meantime, read Marge’s latest post in Tiny Tips for Library Fun about their library’s transition to a no-weekly-prize plan (with a book at the end instead).
