My friend and colleague who works with Birth to Three providers in the region shared information about an upcoming free webinar from Zero to Three.  It’s aimed at early childhood professionals, and it features…LIBRARIES!  It takes place on March 4 at 1:00 pm CST.   It looks like a worthwhile webinar for librarians to attend, too:

Public libraries are accessible, offering diverse, intergenerational programming, and serving families from low-income homes at a high rate compared to other community providers. In this webinar, the Public Library Association, a division of the American Library Association, will enlighten new and experienced early childhood program staff, parents, and others about the potential of public libraries to act as learning spaces and connect families. Speakers will discuss how early childhood programs can collaborate with local public libraries, and what public libraries across the country are doing to support parents and caregivers to be more engaged with their children, their early childhood program, and each other.

It looks like registration is free.
