Thanks to a recommendation from our state consultant, Tessa Michaelson Schmidt, I have been reading/skimming a new book called Born Reading:  Bringing Up Bookworms in a Digital Age–From Picture Books to eBooks and Everything in Between by Jason Boog.  This book is a great one to recommend to new or expecting parents!  It is easy to read, easy to follow, well-researched, and gives great recommendations for reading books and integrating technology into the lives of young children.  Plus, he quotes liberally from trusted experts like librarians!  I highly recommend it!
