Colfax Reaching Out with Technology
Leah Langby
August 22, 2012

Lisa Ludwig, director at the Colfax Public Library, got a grant from Dunn Energy to purchase an iPad and several autism-related apps for it.  She is working with the local parent’s autism support group and the school to promote the iPad.  One of Lisa’s goals is to help her community learn about technology and embrace it, and she is excited to reach out to a specific group that can really benefit from iPads.  It will be helpful for families to be able to try out this expensive equipment before deciding to invest in it.

Way to go, Lisa!
